The Advanced Technology Partnerships Institute (ATPi) at Cal Poly Pomona was established to enhance the transfer of knowledge between the university’s engineering and science faculty and the commercial technology sector. ATPi faculty experts are paired with creative, motivated students to offer an alternative to consultants for support of internal research and development efforts. The university’s highly qualified faculty, diverse student body, polytechnic approach and research infrastructure can provide innovation and add value to existing products at a moderate cost.
